 Set up Your ‘Hindware Appliances’ App

1.  Download and Install the ‘Hindware Appliances’ App from Google Play or Apple App Store.

 

 Note: Please Ensure The Below Instructions Before Downloading The App:

  • Internet is required for downloading & registration.
  • Please make sure your Water Purifier is installed.
  • Minimum Android & iOS versions required for supporting the App are as below.

CUSTOMER REGISTRATION PROCESS

1.  Open the Hindware Appliances App.

2. Click on the ‘Register Here’. You can also login through ‘Facebook’ or ‘Google’. If you are an existing customer just fill in your registered mobile number and click ‘Login’.

3. Please Read Privacy Policy and click ‘Accept’.

4. Fill the required details and click on ‘Register’. ‘One Time Password (OTP)’ will be sent on the mobile number for verification.

5. Enter the received OTP and ‘Confirm’. Registration process is complete now.

 

REGISTERING YOUR PRODUCT WITH APP

1. Click on the ‘Add Product’ icon on the Dashboard screen to register your product.

2. Please enter your product details including product serial number and click on ‘Register’ button to complete the product registration. For IoT Product, Serial Number is mandatory.

3. A message page will display for product registration completion depending your product is IoT or non IoT.

4.  Your IoT based water purifier will show in red colour and non IoT product in grey colour on the dashboard.

Note: Click on Water Purifier icon on the dashboard to see your product details.

5.  The page will show the Water purifier data & information which you can see and access on your mobile remotely.

Note: This data will be visible only when your product is connected to the internet.

 Note: Please make sure your product is ON and Wi-Fi icon on the product display is Constant Blue.

1. Click on the ‘IOT’ icon placed at bottom right corner on the app product page.

2. Now IoT Setup page will open. Please read the instructions and click on ‘Continue’ icon.

3. ‘Device Configuration’ process will start. Proceed to ‘Select Wi-Fi Network’ screen to choose your Wi-Fi router.

4.  Please choose your Wi-Fi Network, enter password and click on ‘Connect’ .

Note: iOS Users will have to enter both Network Name & Password to proceed as per coming instruction. It is advisable to connect your mobile device with existing Wi-Fi network.

5. Now ‘Network Configuration’ process will start and after completion ‘Device Connected’ message will display. Wi-Fi icon on the Product will glow as constant Green.

6. Click on ‘Done’ and it will go back to the main Dashboard page.

7. Click on Water Purifier icon on the dashboard to access the complete product information.

Note: After connectivity, it will take 2 minutes time to display information on app product page. The data will be updated in every 2 minutes.

OTHER FEATURE DETAILS:

1. It shows your profile details which includes your primary address.

2. You can easily download and access user manuals for your registered products.

3. You can access the service request history of last 1 month.

4. You can opt in-out for notification, privacy policy etc.

5. It will show the privacy policy which you have accepted for using the app services.

6. You can easily refer your registered product to your closed ones by entering Name, Mobile No. & Email.

If you want to opt out from the alerts/notifications/offers, please select it from ‘Settings’ tab of your hindware appliances app.

SERVICE HISTORY

You can keep the track and see details of your service related information of past 1 month.

DEVICE RESET:

1. If you want to change your network credentials or you want to disconnect your device from network, then you can use RECONFIGURATION icon on the app product details page.

2. For RESET (in case the product is already connected), click on the ‘RECONFIGURATION’ icon and then click on the ‘Continue’ icon. Now a screen will open with RESET icon. Click on RESET and confirm.

Note: Now the Wi-Fi icon on product will glow as Constant Blue indicating that device is in Hot Spot mode and ready for connectivity.

3. You can choose reconfiguration immediately or later.

Note: Please follow same process of connectivity. If  the device is not able to connect due to any reasons like router change, internet credential change etc. then you can directly do the reconfiguration. Just wait for Wi-Fi icon on Product to glow as Constant Blue and follow the same connectivity steps as explained earlier by clicking on the ‘RECONFIG’ icon.

 

SERVICE REQUEST CREATION

1. For Service request click on Water Purifier icon on the dashboard and click on the ‘Service” icon at the bottom of your dashboard to register your service request.

2.  Now ‘Service Request’ page will open. Please choose the correct options from the drop down menu and click done.

Note: ‘Add More Images’ option is optional. But this will help us to better understand the problem.

3. A success message will appear on your app screen for service registration of your product.

4. You can easily track your current service request at the top of your ‘My Dashboard’ page.
